Welcome to the HP Pavilion Notebook Class Action Administration website
The purpose of this website is to provide information regarding a class action lawsuit filed against Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) alleging that some HP Pavilion notebooks sold in 2001 and 2002 contain TDK or Ambit inverters that were defective.
A Court has approved the lawsuit as a class action on behalf of all persons and entities who own or owned one or more of the following HP Pavilion notebook models: zt1150; zt1155; zt1170; zt1175; zt1180; zt1185; zt1190; zt1195; zt1250; xz185; xz275; and xz295; and who purchased the notebook from an entity located within California; and whose computer contains or contained a TDK TAD669 Rev. 2.0 inverter or an Ambit inverter bearing part numbers PK070012310 and PK070011210; and who experienced a dim, dark or flickering display that made the computer inoperable.
